Ruby L. Grambsch, 94, Marshfield, formerly of Loyal, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at the Bethel Center, Arpin. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 23, at the Loyal United Methodist Church, Loyal. The Rev. Wendell Williams officiated. Burial followed in the Loyal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ben Grambsch, Nick Klimpke. Louie Stieglitz, and Dave Clintsman, Jr.

Ruby Lenore Grambsch was born Dec. 1, 1912, in Marshfield, to Benjamin and Lucy (nee Fortnum) Grambsch. In 1923, she moved with her family to Loyal and graduated valedictorian of the Loyal High School class of 1930. She continued her education and attended UW-Madison where she graduated with a degree as a dietician. In March 1943, she enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during WWll as a dietician at a hospital in England. In December 1945, she was discharged as a 2nd lieutenant, and returned to Wisconsin, where she continued to work as a dietician until her retirement. After her retirement, she worked part time as a dietician for the Clark County Home, Owen, and lived with and cared for her mother in Loyal. After the death of her mother, she moved to Marshfield where she built a home and resided until entering the Bethel Center, Arpin, in 1998. She was a member of the Loyal United Methodist Church and was a member of the American Dieticians Society for more than 50 years.

Survivors include one brother, Clyde (Audrey) Grambsch, Loyal; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Grambsch, West Chester, Ohio, and Loretta Grambsch, San Jose, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Lyle and Russell Grambsch.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
